    Incompatibilism is a metaphysical stance asserts that it is impossible for both determinism and free will to be true. In other words, incompatibilism posits that if determinism is true then free will must be false and if free will is true then determinism must be false.

    Broad Incompatibilism[edit | edit source]

    Broad Incompatibilism posits that the human has no moral responsibility for their actions, regardless of whether Determinism or Free Will is true.

    Narrow Incompatibilism[edit | edit source]

    Narrow Incompatibilism posits that the human has moral responsibility for their actions, regardless of whether Determinism or Free Will is true.
