New Age is a range of spiritual or religious practices and beliefs which rapidly grew in Western society during the early 1970s. They are very spiritual and environmentalist. They take many elements from Buddhist, Hinduist, Christian, Chinese, and indigenous traditions.

They believe in a formless divine being that created and preserves the universe.
Spiritual beings[edit | edit source]
New Age believes there are many non-human beings in the universe. There are angels/archangels, masters like Jesus and Buddha, and positive and negative alien races (for example Pleiadians are good and want to help Earth but Reptilians are evil and want to oppress and control humanity)
Nature[edit | edit source]
New Age followers are often very environmentalists and talk about the protection of animals and Mother Earth. Also, they believe that distancing from nature makes many problems in society.
Reincarnation[edit | edit source]
They believe that soul goes through reincarnation and gathers karma that will influence future lives.
Astrology[edit | edit source]
One of the main New Age beliefs is that Earth will go through a catastrophe (war, pandemic, climate change) because is between two eras. Now will end the Age of Pisces and begin the Age of Aquarius, which will radically change the world (end of the monetary system, organized religions, environmental exploitation, wars and military spending, inequalities).
Science and Pseudoscience[edit | edit source]
New Ageists try to support their views with science (mostly misinterpreted quantum physics) for example they want to prove the existence of the soul by quantum mechanics. Also, they are very interested in alternative medicine (acupuncture, healing crystals), and ufology.

New Age also strongly values love, freedom, equality, and free will.
